Class from 1918 or 1919
This photograph is the earliest photo in the oldchs.co.uk archive so far. It comes courtesy of Sheila Park (nee Livingstone) whose mother Georgina (known as Nina) Thomson is in the middle of the girls. In the middle of the back row is John Third who was head of English at CHS during Sheila's time there between 1956-62. At the extreme right of the girls is Mary Hogg who Sheila believes was Director of Music for Dunbartonshire schools during her years at the school.
Many thanks to Sheila for this contribution as we really didn't expect to get such an early example of the history of CHS.
